MERCURY: What means this, [sic] man?

I initially created this URL when thinking about whether there might be a publishing product for an audience interested in promoting links between academic and non-academic libraries. The idea came to mind because I think, and always have, that there is nothing to be afraid of in making knowledge more accessible. I have concluded I do not have the specific high-level knowledge sets, qualifications, training, education, expertise and experience of how libraries are constituted which would make this idea one I could realistically pursue safely.
