Fred Pearce accepts Editor-in-chief post for titles
owned by Science, People and Politics Ltd.
Mr Fred Pearce has accepted the role of editor-in-chief of all titles owned by Science, People and Politics Ltd. He will have no excutive tasks but has the responsibility to appoint and dismiss the editor/s of each of the titles owned by Science, People and Politics Ltd. now and until further notice.

Science, People & Politics (ISSN 1751-598X) is a bi-monthly and intends to remain a bimonthly with the option to become quarterly.
It is aimed at scientists in their professional roles, people in their none professional/work life and politicians in their professional role - in all countries. The aim is to publish work which readers in more than one country might have a significant interest in reading.
N8 Science Events and N8 University Science and Technology Events are monthly and the intent is they be melded into one print publication. They are aimed at anyone interested in the activities of the eight North of England research intensive universities grouped together by the N8 government construct.
The policy on accessibility to the general public is under development, and the policy will be to make access free but as compatible as possible with commercial reality and need, professional business development and the legal requirements of the British Library. So there will eventually be a policy intended to generate income from sale of full access to the titles.
